Financial English

The International Certificate in Financial English (Cambridge ICFE) is the result of the cooperation between University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations and ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) to meet the demand for helping finance professionals demonstrate they have the financial English skills they need.

Why the ICFE?

ICFE is recognised around the world by accountancy firms, educational organisations, government agencies, immigration authorities and professional bodies. The ICFE is a guarantee for the employers that their employees possess the skills in English necessary to work in international finance context.

For Whom?
ICFE is meant for all individuals who need or want to own a recognised and highly respected certificate of their qualification as a user of English in the world of finance and accountancy. ICFE exams can be seated at B2 to C1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (the internationally recognised benchmark of language ability). This corresponds to an upper-intermediate to advance level of English. You will sit the Cambridge exams through the British Council, the official representative of the University of Cambridge ESOL exams in Holland.
