Business English Certificaten

The Business English Certificates (BEC) are internationally recognised qualifications that show your skills for using English in the workplace.

Why the BEC?
More than ever, the need for companies to rely on a standard of English in the workplace is becoming increasingly necessary. A good knowledge of English is needed to succeed in international business and commerce. The BEC is a guarantee for employers that their employees possess a level of English that is important in the world of work, business and commerce.

For whom?
BEC exams are meant for all individuals that want or need to own a recognised and highly respected certificate of their qualification as a user of professional English in the business environment.

BEC exams are aligned with Levels B1 to C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (the internationally recognised benchmark of language ability). This corresponds to an upper-intermediate to advance level of English. You will sit the Cambridge exams through the British Council, the official representative of the University of Cambridge ESOL exams in Holland.
